Semester 2 2009 reflection/review

1.Medium is a type of thing you use to decorate your artwork. like paint or colored pencil or markers.
Greenware is clay that has not been fired.
Craftsmanship is having pride in your own work.
Relief printing is printing from a raised surface.
Weaving loom is a frame or machine for interlacing at right angles two or mre sets of threads or yarns to form a cloth.
Ceramic coil building is the method which uses long snake like structures to form a pot.
Weaving is warp and filling threads.
Plagiarism is copying anothers work-either an artist or a student or a teacher.
Vanishing point is a point on perspective darwings that you use to draw your buildings together.
Monotype is a one time print.

2.An artist that inspires me is Salvador Dali and he enspires because his artwork is never the same and how it doesnt have to have one main point/idea.

3.When doing ceramics you have to apply 3 coats of glaze.

4.When labeling a print your signature should go in the right corner by pen.

5.My greatest success in art this semester was my portrait/painting of me and tyler and my bathtub that turned out amazing.
